Rangers hammer Santa Paula

The Nordhoff Rangers got back to their winning ways and thrilled the Homecoming crowd with a dominating 48-0 win over the visiting Santa Paula Cardinals. Matt Woodcock was dominant early in the game and he capped the Rangers’ first drive of the night with a 54-yard touchdown run. He would go on to score two more touchdowns in the first half before coming out of the game once the Rangers were in control.

Senior Eric Lara rushed for a touchdown and caught a touchdown pass from Tanner Workman. Workman also found Jake Boyd for a touchdown. Baylee Rogers rounded out the scoring on the night for the Rangers with a short touchdown run. With their win, the Rangers improved to 9-1 on the season. Nordhoff will find out who their first round playoff opponent will be later this weekend. See Wednesday’s OVN for more detail on tonight’s game on the playoffs.
