Nordhoff Falls To Lompoc

All good things must come to an end and that was the case tonight when the Nordhoff Rangers hosted the Lompoc Braves in the CIF semi-finals. The Braves jumped out to a 14-0 lead and the Rangers were ever able to recover as Lompoc ran away with the game, winning 45-18.
Scoring for the Rangers were Micah Thornton (35 yard touchdown catch), Kyle Moore (32 yard field goal) and Robert Perron (two yard TD run). Defensively the Rangers could not stop the Braves and their running game.

With the loss the Rangers end their season 12-1. See Wednesday's OVN for more details on the Rangers' final game of the season.

Its custom to show support when there is an injured player, not to jeer him from the sidelines. NHS lost their composure as it became evidant that they were being outclassed, Show some class, you have a good football team & had a great year, You need to remember that all seasons end with a loss with the exception the section winner. Good luck next year

I too saw the players clapping and showing disrespect when there was an injured player on the field. I heard the Lompoc fans start chanting "overrated" only after they refused to take a knee and continued to clap at the injured player. Showed no class. They were told to take a knee and continued to clap, especially #33, was jumping and clapping the most. Unbelievebale the coaches did not go out there and tell his players to take a knee. No CLASS.

I heard Coach Henney yell out to take a knee. I agree, that the kids needed, Henney was disappointed in his guys for those actions.
