Ranger Make History

The Nordhoff Rangers made history tonight when they defeated the Oak Park Eagles 23-7. With the win, the Rangers became the first team in school history to finish the regular season 10-0. Back in 1996, the Rangers went 9-0-1.

NHS led 10-0 after the first half and then surged ahead 17-0 in the second half before the Eagles closed the gap to 17-7 but the Rangers closed the deal late in the game with a touchdown to make the final score 23-7. Touchdowns were scored by Isaac Seymour, Sean Bettles and Keegan Shirk. Kyle Moore added a 30-yard field goal for the Rangers.

The Rangers will host their first round play-off game next week. Check Wednesday's OVN to see who the Rangers will face in the first round and to read more about tonight's record-setting win.
